How to choose from long-term development?


There are two traditional methods to treat moisture in the gas source. first one, the adsorbent absorbs moisture from the gas source, it’s an adsorption dryer. second one, lower gas temperature to below dew point temperature, which makes the moisture in the air condenses into liquid, and then separated out, thereby reducing  water content of gas source, it’s refrigeration dryer. It has two kinds of processing equipment by above two methods, while most of users adopt refrigerated dryer at current market. 




We know that refrigeration dryer has three restricted conditions for "pressure dew point":

1.Freezing point bottom line of evaporation temperature ; 

2.Heat transfer area of the evaporator; 

3.Separation efficiency of "gas-water separator" is less than 100% 


The final cooling temperature of compressed air in the evaporator is higher than 3 ℃ ~ 5 ℃ evaporator temperature of the refrigerant. a small amount of condensation water revert to water vapor in heat exchange of precooler, increasing the water content of compressed air due to efficiency limitation of gas-water separator.




So, it is very difficult to control the "pressure dew point" of refrigerated dryer below 2 °C. however most of pneumatic components and pneumatic systems has 1~3 level requirement for air medium quality, then the corresponding dew point temperature ≤ -20 ℃, which means that it can’t reach drying effect of most of the pneumatic components and pneumatic system for compressed air purification of the refrigerated dryer.





Not only that, there are three major hazards using refrigerated dryer (purify compressed air):

1. It’s not up to standard compressed air quality after treatment, while it’s an important quality guarantee for good production technology and equipment.

2.  Large energy consumption. energy consumption at least 10% If treated quality of compressed air need reach five level standard ( +7 ℃), refrigerated dryer manufacturers will not be able to provide a guarantee, but enterprises need standard compressed air, and vast majority of enterprises’ pressure dew point is +20 ℃ above, it seems to be a decoration in disorderly competition environment.





3.  Huge losses for enterprise. It will cause huge economic losses to enterprises due to poor quality of compressed air, causing equipment downtime, increasing maintenance and repair costs, rising product defect rate and a series of problems.
  
It’s not a best choice to choose refrigeration dryer no matter what aspects from compressed air quality, energy consumption or cost. while biteman modular-units dryer can not only can solve substandard quality of compressed air, but also can be much smaller energy consumption, much lower overall cost than refrigeration dryer. so you should choose biteman modular-units dryer rather than refrigerated dryer from long-term development!
