Use Reasons and Effects of Compressed Air Filter



In compressed air systems, contamination can cause serious problems. the contaminant particles are also brought into the compressed air system during the compression process (the air is compressed). in 0.8 MPa system, the amount of contaminants is enhanced 8 times in the compression system. at the moment, these pollutant particles can lead to severely damaged in using products of compressed air production.


These pollutants particle mainly refers to the particles and impurities in the air, pipeline dust, pipeline peeling, abrasive particles and microbes etc.it can be divided into three categories:

1. large dust, particle size is above 10μm;

2. fine dust, Particle size is between 10-1μm;

3. the smallest dust, the particle is less than 1μm.

For much larger dust and impurities, it is very easy to remove at the current technical level, while it’s more difficult eliminate 0.3 ~ 5μm dust particles as the measuring lower limit for those who can not see with naked eye. This requires that the compressed air system to remove these dust via filtering means, then you need to use compressed air filter.


The main function of compressed air filter is to filter solid particles impurities in the compressed air and it has a certain blocking effect on the liquid water and oil.
