Biteman High- precision Filter -The Innovator in the Filter


Biteman high precision filter is mainly used for filtering impurities of solid particles in the compressed air, and it has a certain blocking effect for liquid water and oil, changing the traditional filter structure and method.


High precision filter mainly consists of the inlet, outlet chamber, outlet, open filter cartridge, storage liquid chamber, sewage-outfall and other components.

Filter cartridge consists of inlet end, high-molecular polymer, filter cartridge in-wall, the discharge end and other components.


The filter uses open design, making filtered impurities directly pass liquid storage cavity, without permeation by filter element, and discharge by automatic drainage valve; the middle filter element uses high-quality polymer filter material, it has a certain adsorption capacity for oil mist and other impurities, and fully ensure filter effect; part of the compressed air is going to purge inner wall of the filter from top to bottom, making filtered impurities effectively eliminate, while reducing the resistance of filter cartridge for compressed air.


Traditional filter element will be blocked at the lower end of the filter, filtered impurities of compressed air will gather inside of filter element, and penetrate into the bottom of filter chamber by filter element, and then discharge through automatic drainage device.


Filter selection

During selecting filter, some people have misunderstanding that the air quality just selects single filter to meet the requirements with corresponding processing accuracy, it will save money. In fact, although it depends on Single-filter processing accuracy decision, high-precision filter will soon be blocked due to excessive load, speeding up replacement frequency of the filter element, which will increase production cost, if no pre-treatment protection of pre-filter (much lower level).


The filter requires that periodically replacing filter cartridge

It will cause gas flow becoming smaller and pressure drop becoming high in the system as for filter cartridge continues to be contaminated. At the same time, energy consumption of the electricity will rise as well, resulting in increasing operation and production costs, increasing environmental burden. Thus the filter cartridge needs to be replaced regularly.



Precautions of Filter installation

1. The working pressure does not exceed indicated maximum pressure of the filter;

2.The filter is generally installed behind after-cooler and gas storage tank, and then close to use point and lowest temperature point as soon as possible;


3. The filter should not be installed behind the quick opening valve, and prevent the back-flow and impact phenomenon;

4. The filter should be installed vertically, and leave enough space to replace filter element in the bottom of the filter;

5. The larger filter should be properly supported in the pipeline.



Instructions on replacing filter element

1. Isolate filter, close inlet valve or compressed air supply system, close outlet valve after completely depressurizing (or close outlet valve through filter drainage);

2. Remove the shell; take down old filter element;


3. Clean filter housing;

4. Put on a new filter element (do not leave out seal ring, and add Vaseline, the filter should be installed tightly and properly).
