Moisture, it’s very clear that the air contains moisture of 0.03% absolute humidity, then where is oil from? It is clear that the air will not contain oil, while there will be oil in production workshop of the entire environment, and the air compressor in the operation, the equipment will bring lubricating oil into the compressed air. this is the source of water and oil in the production workshop.

Secondly, since we know the source of water and oil, it can’t completely improve or even eliminate water &oil phenomenon in production workshop. Although the essence is to solve the problem from the source, then does it OK to remove by any equipment, the filter, adsorption dryer, refrigeration dryer? therefore, since the gas source can not solve the problem, we have to remove water&oil in the process. When air compressor bring compressed air into gas storage tank, there will be part of liquid water, oil discharged in the bottom of the gas storage tank, most companies use refrigeration dryer, and its pressure dew point can reach 3 ℃ at minimum. it not only can not reach required dew point temperature for most of the aerodynamic components, but also can’t get good separation and purification for compressed air into the various gas equipment, pneumatic components, which will have different damage degrees, while the production workshop site will produce a lot of water and oil.

Water&oil phenomenon is only one of the hazards for compressed air quality can’t reach standard in production workshop. It also will bring huge losses to enterprise, such as:


1. Decline production capacity

Pneumatic equipment, pneumatic tools will cause failure and can’t meet the design requirements due to moisture in compressed air pipeline.

2. Deterioration of equipment function

Moisture will greatly reduce the accuracy of the equipment and operating efficiency, such as slow cylinder action, damage solenoid valve etc.

3. Increase product defect rate

Moisture content is too high, leading to product failure, increased defect rate, such as processing and production of painting, electronic products.

4. Aerodynamic losses

Pipeline corrosion of compressed air results in declining pressure, big pressure difference, affecting safe production.

5. Production equipment failure

Moisture will cause damage to the pneumatic components in the pneumatic equipment, resulting in equipment failure.

6. Shorten equipment service life

Moisture accelerates the corrosion of production equipment, resulting in shortening service life of the production equipment.





It can be seen that the small problem don’t resolve, then it will cost twice times or more to solve when the big problem comes. perhaps the administrator will think that our product requirements are not so high, it’s no big problems for worse compressed air quality, but is it really OK on earth?
