Automobile spray is the process of car painting. The coating process generally use air spraying method, the whole air spraying process consists of eight steps, first, the terminal end of the air compressor, followed by oil&water separator, pressure gauge and pressure controller, compressed air delivery pipes, paint storage tanks, compressed air delivery pipe, paint delivery pipe, spray guns. Every link is indispensable, and also need to coordinate with each other, only the entire coating process is running smoothly, will it not affect the quality of final product.






Automobile manufacturing has a strict standard for the compressed air in the coating part, that is, the coating will directly lead to quality defects if the gas source contains oil, water and other impurities. Common quality problems include shrinkage, bubble, pitting, etc.


It is difficult to eliminate in a short time, what’s worse, it lead to the production process can not be normal operated once produced shrinkage phenomenon. shrinkage refers to the coating process, the compressed air containing oil and water, resulting in local shrink, and it will be exposed or not exposed to the coating surface, forming pits, hemp Point and a series of paint defects, it not only affects appearance &quality of the coating, but also destroy the integrity of paint film. it can not be eliminated with ordinary grinding, polishing modification method.


Bubble will often occur with the shrinkage, that is, it will form shrinkage via paint film shrink after the bubble occurs and gradually disappear.


Pitting just like a crater on coating surface , do not reveal the hole of painted surface.





Compressed air quality can’t reach standard no matter whether it is shrinkage, bubble or pitting, and it will damage the normal use of equipment, directly increase product defect rate. while this is one of the major problems for automobile manufacturing enterprises.
