Working Principle



Generally speaking, we will choose activated alumina oxide or molecular sieve as adsorbent according to different structure of adsorption compressed air dryer.Adsorption dryer using advanced chemical technology and water absorption characteristics of adsorbent,saturated water molecules of compressed air adsorbed in the adsorbent during working pressure, and then restore adsorbent via depressurization ,heating and drying airflow purge. the compressed air drying dew point of up to below -40 ℃ after drying compressed air through the adsorption - regeneration cycle.

Weakness of the traditional twin towers:

1.pressure dew point is unstable

2.high energy consumption

3.maintenance trouble



Defects of the traditional twin towers:


1. Distribution of airflow fluid is unbalanced, there is adsorption dead angle, adsorbent utilization is low;


2. In order to avoid powdering phenomenon, generally choosing active alumina oxide as adsorbent, which may cause adsorption efficiency is low, filling is not easy to achieve uniform, tight, leave no dead angle leading to current short-circuit;


3. “tunnel effect”to promote the absorbent powder invalid;


4.Low Utilization rate of Adsorbent,big filling amount and big renewable airflow;


5.Weak instantaneous resolution, which need a lot of renewable gas blowing;



6.Huge Pressure loss, high energy consumption;


7.Dust easily blocked pipe of filters and mufflers ;


8.Dust will bring impacts of back-end gas equipment;



9.Performance decrease or invalid after replacement,it’s difficult to fill adsorbent when second replacement
